CARLOS FRANCO

Carlos Franco

Carlos Franco is a Miami-based visual artist and arts educator, and the founder and director of the nonprofit Children’s Gallery & Arts Center, located in historic Cauley Square. Through both his personal artistic practice and his nonprofit work, Carlos is deeply committed to nurturing creativity, community, and access to the arts for all ages.

His visual work explores color, memory, and everyday environments, translating familiar scenes into expressive compositions that invite reflection and emotional connection. Alongside his studio practice, Carlos has dedicated years to building an inclusive space where children, youth, and adults can engage with visual art through hands-on classes, workshops, and exhibitions.

The Children’s Gallery & Arts Center serves as both a creative hub and educational space, offering ongoing art classes and community programming that encourage self-expression, imagination, and confidence through the arts.

We are deeply grateful to Carlos Franco for generously opening his space and nonprofit home to host Fuego at the Square. His support, vision, and belief in community-centered art align seamlessly with the mission of Fuego — creating space for artistic voices, shared stories, and creative freedom.
